Clear Headspace Therapy

Counselling and Psychotherapy in Merseyside

Welcome to Clear Headspace Therapy

Clear the way for a Brighter Future

About me

I believe in supporting and empowering people to access their own resources, to gain inner strength and find their own path towards living a happier life. Sometimes it is difficult to share exactly how we are feeling with friends and family and although counselling may seem like a daunting experience it offers a neutral place for us to offload any heaviness we may be carrying inside. I offer a confidential space, where you will feel heard, valued, and understood - somewhere you can feel comfortable to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement or expectation.

You can talk about anything that may be causing you distress (whether past or present) so that you feel free to gain clarity and create meaningful changes in your life.

Often, I find that emotional distress can come from things outside of our control and it may be helpful to also consider external factors which may be impacting our mental health and wellbeing. Although we may not be able to change or stop the events taking place around us, counselling can help us to change how we think about them and how we respond. We can work together to help you understand yourself and your experiences.

Person Centred Counselling

As a qualified person-centred counsellor, I offer a non-judgemental approach, no matter what you bring to the session. I will help you to explore your own issues, feelings, beliefs, behaviour, and worldview, so you can become more self-aware and able to cope with current and future problems. I will support you throughout your journey of self-discovery as you become more self-aware, reach a stage of acceptance, and then head towards positive change.

Creative Therapy

At times it can be hard to find words which fully express how we are feeling inside. Being trained as a creative psychotherapist means I can offer non-verbal methods such as art, writing, poetry, and movement which can be helpful if you are feeling a sense of disconnect.

Personalized Support

What works for one person might not work for another and together we will find a way that works best for you by looking at you as an individual and your circumstances. This could be by using a combination of different approaches to create a therapeutic way of working which is unique to yourself. This will help you to get a better understanding of whatever may be worrying you so that you can move forward in a positive way.
